I paid $15.5k out the door for my LB9, 5spd, t-topped IROC. Granted that was in 1988, and I now have about 132kmiles on it.

Every viable automotive information/resource buyers guide are always thumbs up on this era of mustang. Many were built, they run forever and, if needed,parts are readily available. It's a few years later, I look forward to following your experiences with this car.

Great find! Perfect platform to restore to perfection. I love them all but consider the C4 to be the best looking Corvette ever. Some parts are getting hard to find, but I eventually find what i need. I’m constantly on the hunt.

7. Get a C5

My dad still has the spacers he bought for his 97 gt like probably close to 20 years ago. He never installed them since the car mostly sat in the garage as more of a cruiser and not a daily used car. He sold his about 12 years ago and now I am in the works to buy my own sn95 probably 94-95 gt or cobra.

A couple of things. 6:00 Disappointing that AC Delco fuel filters are made in China. I buy a quality brand that is NOT made in China. Also, if you pull the rubber boot off the fuel filler and clamp the fuel line, you won’t get covered in petrol when you remove the fuel filter. It tends to siphon the fuel because the filter is in a lower position than the tank. Secondly, the foam seal that comes with the K & N filter dissolves when it comes in contact with the oil the filter is sprayed with. I didn’t use mine for this reason. Love your vids. Keep them coming. 👍

A ZR-1 weighs about 200lbs more than a standard C4. But dude, with you in it, that's closer to 500lbs. You are so fat, I thought I was looking into a Mclaren F1 interior with the driver's seat in the middle, but you're just that wide. Maybe no more drive-thru for you in the vette....

T tops are not what they are cracked up to be. Flex. Roll your window down, grip your roof line at the front of your T and drive down a winding pumpy road. You will feel the flre.

Will it fit in a 2017 fusion titanium? Ur engine looks the same but on the website it says it doesn’t fit

Did you have any problems with the stock studs sticking out, I noticed you didn’t cut them, which means the wheels are not sitting flush on the spacer. I bought the same ones for my 01 and I’m wondering if it is safe to do so

Nice car, not to rain on your parade, but I just bought one 3 weeks ago. 1985 IROC, one owner, same black/red color combo. T/tops. All original except the stereo, which I have, 63k miles. Pretty good shape. Needs some TLC, which it’s getting. 305 TPI, pretty quick. I bought it for 1k. Yep. Okay, so it was my dad’s 😂 Loved the thing since he brought it home brand new in 1985, my senior year in high school. 39 years later, it’s mine.

That sump plug and oil filter were installed way too tight! No wonder you couldn't get the trans plug out. Very poor workmanship from the guy before.

My 1990 IROC 5.7 auto…RPO CODES G80, G92, J65 and all options but T-Tops. Had 144K miles when I bought it 8 years ago. The car fax report showed 21 owners, and the first owner was from North Dakota. My purchase price was $5000. It seems that all the previous owners tried to “upgrade and accentuate” the car.. I spent over $5000 bringing the car back to factory stock and in show room condition. After doing the CORRECT drive ability upgrades I spent $10,000 on anti loc brakes, proper engine cooling, and L98 TPI performance Upgrades….yielding a True and measurable 425 RW HP Then I spent $5000 on Paint and finishes. So $25K later I have a 34 yr old stage coach that gets blown away by all those store bought HELL pussies, and Demonic loan cars that the median and society says I should be buying… PLEASE. Bury me in my IROC😂😂😂😂

Just change the rims..i have 95 cobra i bought new. The first thing that went was those ugly stock rims..to thin 8 wide..i got 9 inches on the front and 10/5 inches out back for those big wheel wells
